Application Support
- Troubleshoot production issues from application code independently with minimal supervision.
- Analyze production issues using monitoring tools such as AppDynamics and ELK.
- Perform application troubleshooting and log analysis in production environments.
Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience with Core Java and Java EE technologies, including Spring and Spring Boot.
- Awareness of AWS cloud components and deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with UNIX and Linux operating systems and basic shell scripting.
- Knowledge of Oracle RDBMS databases with experience writing SQL queries and scripts.
- Good understanding of Amazon SQS and infrastructure components such as firewalls, load balancers, Kong, and routes.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in a related discipline is required.
- The posting lists at least 7 years of experience working as a Support Engineer.
- Prior application support experience is an added advantage.
- IBM WebSphere administration and deployment knowledge is good to have.
