DICETEK is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join its technology operations team.
The role focuses on application support, production troubleshooting, monitoring, and technology operations.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot production issues from application code independently with minimal supervision.
- Analyze production issues using AppDynamics and ELK monitoring tools.
- Support AWS deployments through CI/CD pipelines.
- Work with UNIX/Linux systems, databases, messaging, and infrastructure components.
Technical skills
- Hands-on experience with Core Java, Java EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- AWS knowledge with deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
- Application troubleshooting and log analysis experience.
- UNIX/Linux operating systems and basic shell scripting.
- Oracle RDBMS knowledge and SQL query and script writing.
- Knowledge of SQS and infrastructure components such as firewalls, load balancers, Kong, and routes.
- IBM WebSphere administration and deployment concepts are good to have.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
- Seven or more years of experience working as a Support Engineer.
- The opening description separately states that 10–12 years of experience is required.
- Technical knowledge and prior application support experience are expected, with prior application support listed as an added advantage.
Work schedule
- Candidates should be flexible to work on shifts.
Communication
Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
