About the Role
TYLin is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to provide technical leadership for designing, architecting, and implementing AI-powered systems. The role involves leading development of RAG and LLM-based workflows, defining engineering standards, and partnering with product leadership in a remote position based in Canada.

- Support monitoring, evaluation, and continuous optimization of deployed models
- Operate in a fast evolving environment with ambiguous requirements
- Balance speed of delivery with long term architectural soundness
- Partner closely with the AI Delivery Manager to align technical execution with business priorities
- Own and guide technical and architectural decisions across AI systems, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise integrations
- Drive hands on development and ensure delivery of production ready AI systems
Requirements
- Experience delivering AI/ML or data products into production environments
- Strong understanding of system architecture (APIs, data pipelines, cloud platforms)
- Proven ability to lead technical direction and mentor engineers
- Experience building solutions aligned to measurable business outcomes
- Must maintain at least 6 hours overlap with US Central time

Job Summary
- The Senior AI Engineer provides technical leadership for the design, architecture, and implementation of AI powered systems.
- Responsible for establishing engineering standards, ensuring architectural integrity, and guiding development of scalable, secure AI applications.
- Serves as primary technical authority for AI initiatives and works closely with product leadership.
- Expected to operate with high degree of autonomy and ownership over technical decisions.

Qualifications & Experience
- Experience delivering AI/ML or data products into production environments.
- Strong understanding of system architecture (APIs, data pipelines, cloud platforms).
- Proven ability to lead technical direction and mentor engineers.
- Experience building solutions aligned to measurable business outcomes.
- Preferred: Experience with Azure AI services, Microsoft AI Foundry, vector databases, or LLM based systems.
- Preferred: Familiarity with MLOps practices.
- Preferred: Experience in consulting or enterprise environments.
Compensation
- Base compensation range of $140,000 $175,000 annually for this position and local market.
