General Description

  • Join a leading consulting organization delivering enterprise AI transformation initiatives across the Middle East.
  • We are seeking an experienced Senior AI Engineer – Generative AI & Agentic AI (Google Cloud Platform) to lead the design, development, and production deployment of enterprise grade AI solutions using Google Cloud's AI ecosystem, including Vertex AI and Gemini.
  • This opportunity is ideal for hands on AI engineers who have successfully delivered multiple Generative AI solutions into production environments and possess deep expertise in Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), multi agent AI systems, LLM orchestration, and cloud native AI architectures.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, data engineers, and enterprise architects to design and deploy scalable AI solutions supporting real world business use cases.
  • This is a contract engagement with an immediate hiring timeline and a remote work setup, with occasional travel to Qatar during key project phases such as UAT and production rollout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy enterprise grade Generative AI solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Build and productionize AI applications leveraging Vertex AI, Gemini, Agent Builder, and Google AI ecosystem services
  • Architect and implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using enterprise knowledge sources and vector databases
  • Design and develop multi agent AI systems capable of orchestrating complex workflows and business processes
  • Lead the end to end AI solution lifecycle from use case discovery through deployment, monitoring, and optimization
  • Develop scalable AI pipelines integrating LLMs, enterprise data platforms, APIs, and business applications
  • Implement prompt engineering, agent orchestration, memory management, tool calling, and workflow automation capabilities
  • Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to establish AI infrastructure, governance, and operational frameworks
  • Optimize AI model performance, latency, cost efficiency, and production reliability
  • Implement security, compliance, monitoring, observability, and responsible AI controls across deployed solutions
  • Support UAT activities, stakeholder demonstrations, production rollout, and post production optimization
  • Provide technical leadership and best practices around Generative AI architecture, Agentic AI, and enterprise AI adoption

Required Experience

  • 8–15 years of overall software engineering, AI engineering, machine learning, or enterprise technology experience
  • Strong hands on experience building and deploying Generative AI solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Proven expertise with Vertex AI and Gemini enterprise AI capabilities
  • Must have successfully delivered at least 2–3 production grade AI use cases within the Google Cloud ecosystem
  • Demonstrated experience deploying both: Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and Multi Agent / Agentic AI systems
  • Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), prompt engineering, embeddings, vector search, and agent frameworks
  • Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, databases, and business workflows
  • Strong Python development experience
  • Experience with cloud native architecture, containerization, APIs, and scalable deployment practices
  • Knowledge of AI governance, security, monitoring, and operational best practices
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently within fast paced consulting and delivery environments

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with Vertex AI Agent Builder, Gemini Enterprise, Agent Development Kit (ADK), or similar Google AI technologies
  • Experience with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, Vertex AI Vector Search, or equivalent platforms
  • Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel, or similar agent frameworks
  • Experience building enterprise copilots, AI assistants, knowledge management solutions, or intelligent workflow automation platforms
  • Previous consulting, professional services, or client facing project experience
  • Experience supporting AI implementations within government, financial services, telecommunications, energy, or enterprise sectors
  • Arabic language capability is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Google Cloud, Vertex AI, Generative AI, or Machine Learning certifications are advantageous
