About the Role
Socium is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect for a 4-month contract to lead the end-to-end architecture definition for a KSA foreign bank branch setup.

Responsibilities
- Lead end to end definition of target technology & infrastructure architecture aligned to KSA foreign bank branch setup
- Define architecture principles across applications, integrations, data, infrastructure, and security
- Develop implementation plan aligned with business product launch roadmap and TCO for MVP 1
- Prepare non functional requirements and tech SLAs for RFPs
- Support technical review of RFP responses
- Align technology design with business scope, product roadmap, and regulatory expectations
- Govern architecture decisions and ensure consistency across all technology domains
- Review vendor solution designs and drive resolution of key architecture gaps
- Assist bank with identification, design and implementation of SJN, SARIE, Tanfeeth gateway, SWIFT, etc.
- Provide any other tech support required for the bank operations setup
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, banking technology, or digital transformation
- Proven experience setting up a digital bank or foreign bank branch end to end
- Strong experience delivering banking technology projects in Saudi Arabia with knowledge of SAMA regulatory requirements
- Hands on experience defining enterprise architecture across applications, integrations, data, infrastructure, security, and cloud
- Experience with Saudi banking and payment systems including SJN, SARIE, Tanfeeth Gateway, and SWIFT
- Experience preparing technical architecture, NFRs, RFPs, and evaluating vendor solutions
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification preferred

Overview
- Location: Willing to work onsite in Jeddah or Riyadh
- Contract Duration: initial 4 months contract
- Note: Open to candidates based outside Saudi Arabia. Visa sponsorship provided; relocation assistance not available.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, banking technology, or digital transformation, with significant experience in architecture leadership.
- Proven experience setting up a digital bank or foreign bank branch end to end, from architecture design through implementation and go live.
- Strong experience delivering banking technology projects in Saudi Arabia, with in depth knowledge of SAMA regulatory and technology requirements.
- Hands on experience defining enterprise architecture across applications, integrations, data, infrastructure, security, and cloud.
- Experience with Saudi banking and payment systems, including SJN, SARIE, Tanfeeth Gateway, and SWIFT.
- Experience preparing technical architecture, non functional requirements (NFRs), RFPs, and evaluating vendor solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with ability to work across business, technology, vendors, and regulators.
- TOGAF or equivalent enterprise architecture certification is preferred.
