- Design, build, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions that power AIXport's trade intelligence and market research products
- Develop data pipelines, train and evaluate models, integrate AI services into production systems, and optimize performance, accuracy, and scalability
- Collaborate closely with data analysts, product managers, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure AI driven insights are reliable, secure, and user friendly
- Mentor other engineers and contribute to architecture decisions
- Stay current with AI/ML advancements relevant to global trade and market intelligence
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in machine learning and AI, including model development, evaluation, and deployment
- Experience with data engineering practices such as data ingestion, cleaning, feature engineering, and pipeline automation
- Solid software engineering skills using modern programming languages (e.g., Python) and frameworks for production grade systems
- Background in applied analytics or data science, with ability to translate complex datasets into actionable insights
- Experience designing scalable architectures on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and working with APIs and microservices
- Knowledge of global trade, market research, or financial data domains is highly beneficial
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborate with cross functional teams, and mentor peers
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to inclusive, ethical AI practices

Role Description
- The Senior AI Engineer is a full time hybrid role based in the United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for partial work from home.
- This role designs, builds, and deploys AI and machine learning solutions that power AIXport's trade intelligence and market research products.
- Day to day responsibilities include developing data pipelines, training and evaluating models, integrating AI services into production systems, and optimizing performance, accuracy, and scalability.
- The role also involves mentoring other engineers, contributing to architecture decisions, and staying current with AI/ML advancements.
Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in machine learning and AI, including model development, evaluation, and deployment.
