Reporting to the Manager, Power Investment & Analytics, we have an opportunity for a Senior Advisor, Power Investment & Analytics to join our team in Perth. In this role, you'll provide critical analytical support that underpins APA's investment decisions across our power portfolio. Working closely with stakeholders across the business, you'll develop and assess business cases for power projects, deliver insights and help drive the successful delivery of APA's Energy Solutions strategy.
You will have tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, engineering or a related discipline, coupled with experience in investment analysis, corporate finance or commercial roles.
You will bring strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities, with the ability to assess opportunities, develop insights and support complex investment decisions.

You will have experience preparing business cases, forecasts and presentations for senior stakeholders, translating complex information into clear and actionable recommendations.

The Power Investment and Analysis team supports the development of greenfield and brownfield power projects by modelling and optimising solutions that meet the customer’s requirements. Typically, this involves identifying the solution with the lowest life cycle cost of energy and involves system requirements, capex estimation, renewable generation and utilisation, maintenance modelling, fuel consumption and emissions forecasting.
