This position is well-suited for a candidate with 1–3 years of hands-on systems administration experience who is eager to grow within a modern, high-performance IT environment.
1–3 years of intermediate-level experience managing and troubleshooting Windows Server and/or Linux (RedHat variants preferred) in production environments.
Beginner to intermediate experience scripting in any combination of Python, Bash/Bourne, PowerShell, Perl, Ruby, or similar languages.
Familiarity with system automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
Familiarity with networking concepts such as DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and VPNs.
Exposure to AI-assisted tools for operational support, including AI-powered monitoring or observability platforms, or the use of AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude, Etc) to accelerate scripting and documentation tasks.
Experience with IT service management tools, preferably ServiceNow.
Top-tier critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform effectively under pressure during incidents.

Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business resources.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent experience in Systems Engineering.
Industry certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), or Microsoft Windows Server accreditations.
Familiarity with containerization concepts such as Docker or Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD.
