Role Overview

Accounting Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts accurately in Tally Prime.
• Post journal, purchase, sales, receipt, payment, debit note, and credit note entries.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, expenses, bills, payments, collections, and outstanding balances.
• Maintain and scrutinise ledgers and perform regular bank and account reconciliations.
• Prepare profit and loss statements, balance sheets, trial balances, MIS, and other financial reports.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing and maintain accounting records and supporting documents.

Taxation and Compliance

• Handle GST-related accounting and compliance work.
• Assist with TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and statutory authorities when required.
• Ensure records are maintained according to applicable requirements.

Banking Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day banking transactions and correspondence.
• Prepare and process NEFT, RTGS, IMPS, and other bank payments.
• Maintain bank statements and perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Coordinate with banks on account matters, payments, documentation, facilities, and queries.
• Assist with bank loans, overdrafts, working capital, and related banking requirements.

Finance Support

• Assist management with cash flow, fund requirements, budgeting, and financial planning.
• Prepare basic MIS and financial reports for management review.
• Monitor cash flow, outstanding payments, receivables, and fund requirements.
• Assist with analysing expenses, profitability, and financial performance.

Candidate Requirements

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounts, finance, and banking.
• Strong practical knowledge of Tally Prime is mandatory.
• Complete knowledge of day-to-day accounting activities.
• Good knowledge of GST, TDS, BRS, AP/AR, ledger scrutiny, financial statements, and banking operations.
• Basic knowledge of finance, cash flow, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to independently manage accounting and banking work with attention to detail and accuracy.

Compensation

• Pay ranges from ₹18,000 to ₹35,000 per month.

Workplace

• Work location is in person.
