- Own the full accounting lifecycle from day to day bookkeeping and transaction processing to designing, building, and maintaining management reporting frameworks
- Ensure accurate and timely financial records and reporting
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls
- Manage tax compliance across relevant jurisdictions
- Review commercial agreements for accounting and tax implications
- Prepare regular management reports and support decision making
- Coordinate audits and work with external auditors and advisors
- Maintain clear, well structured financial documentation and controls
Requirements
- Strong, hands on experience applying IFRS in an operational environment
- Solid understanding of tax compliance in the Gulf region (including VAT and corporate tax)
- Proven ability to balance strategic oversight with hands on execution
- High level of autonomy, ownership, and accountability
- Confidence working directly with senior management and external stakeholders
- Russian speaking (implied by title and description)
