Job Summary
Senior Accountant role responsible for day-to-day accounting operations and accurate financial records.
The role supports reporting, regulatory compliance, financial controls, planning, cash-flow management, audits, and junior staff guidance.
Responsibilities
- Manage AR, AP, general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
- Prepare monthly and annual financial reports, including variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with SOCPA/IFRS, VAT, Zakat, GOSI, and applicable regulations.
- Manage payroll accounting, including salaries, commissions, deductions, and related reporting.
- Monitor cash flow, banking transactions, payments, and working capital.
- Maintain inventory and fixed asset records, including depreciation and reconciliations.
- Support annual budgeting, financial planning, and budget variance analysis.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, approval processes, and financial procedures.
- Coordinate with auditors, vendors, clients, banks, and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with the Delegation of Authority and company policies.
- Improve accounting processes and systems, including ERP/Odoo.
- Guide junior accounting staff and report key financial matters to management.
Competencies
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of Saudi VAT, Zakat, GOSI, and SOCPA/IFRS.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and financial accuracy.
- Strong Excel and ERP/accounting systems proficiency.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong organization, time management, and deadline management.
- High integrity, confidentiality, and accountability.
- Leadership and team-development capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least five years of relevant accounting experience.
- Professional qualification such as SOCPA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Odoo.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
- Experience with Saudi accounting and tax requirements.
Compensation
- Pay is listed as SAR 8,000 to SAR 14,000 per month.

- Work location is in person in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
