Responsibilities
- Monitor project budgets and track actual costs against approved budget
- Review contracts and purchase orders of the projects
- Prepare and review Budget vs. Actual reports for project
- Manage project billing, invoicing, and revenue recognition
- Track project cash flow
- Monitor subcontractor and supplier payments in line with project progress
- Maintain records of project costs including materials and subcontractor data in the ERP system
- Prepare periodic cost reports for management review
- Reconcile project accounts, including receivables and payables
- Track retention, advance payments, and bank guarantees/ Securities
- Coordinate with Project managers, Procurement, and Site teams & HO Account team
- Ensure proper documentation for audits and compliance
Requirements
- 3–5+ years of experience in construction or project accounting
- Knowledge of ERP System (Oracle, ePromise)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
- Strong knowledge of construction accounting
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Understanding of contract terms (BOQ, variations, EOT, etc.)

Role Overview
- The Project Accountant is responsible for managing financial aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, cost control, billing, reporting, and coordination with teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
