Role overview

Join the Accounting team within the Finance department of JERA Nex bp, supporting a multinational offshore wind organisation.

Own end-to-end accounting for a portfolio of legal entities in a hands-on role covering transactional processing, reporting, tax, and audit.

Key responsibilities

  • Own accounting activities including invoice posting and payments, accruals, month-end close, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare financial statements and support UK statutory and IFRS group reporting.
  • Manage intercompany accounting, funding transactions, acquisition bookkeeping, accounts receivable, cash, and liquidity planning.
  • Support tax returns, transfer pricing documentation, payroll accounting, and service invoice creation.
  • Lead statutory audit management, support group audits, improve processes, and maintain internal controls.

Qualifications and experience

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a comparable professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • At least 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and SAP S/4HANA, with working knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
  • UK VAT and CIT experience is essential; transfer pricing exposure is advantageous.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, accuracy, ethics, and integrity.
