JERA Nex bp is hiring a Cost Controller for complex offshore wind development and construction projects.
The Corporate Controlling team manages financial positions, project costs, cash implications, and reporting across multiple entities.
Responsibilities
- Provide finance oversight for large-capital-expenditure projects in development or construction.
- Lead project budgeting, forecasting, reporting, spending monitoring, and variance analysis.
- Assess Value of Work Done and ensure accruals withstand audit.
- Track commitments and expenditure against project WBS and budgets.
- Prepare monthly reports and presentations for management, boards, banks, shareholders, and internal departments.
- Maintain SAP project reporting master data and support accurate financial close.
- Improve reporting, controlling, and planning processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in finance or a related discipline.
- At least 7 years of experience, including 3 years in a similar role.
- Knowledge of analytical and accounting concepts, SAP, and reporting systems.
- Advanced MS Office skills and an interest in financial modelling.
- Ability to understand complex financial and technical business interactions.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Offshore wind or oil and gas experience is advantageous.
