Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and fixed assets
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules
- Assist with month end and year end closing activities
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve accounting discrepancies
- Monitor cash flow and prepare regular cash position reports
- Track project costs, revenue, and profitability
- Manage client billing, progress invoices, retention amounts, and monitor collections
- Track project expenses, process subcontractor and consultant invoices and supplier payments
- Prepare project wise financial reports and variance analysis
- Prepare and file VAT returns and supporting documentation
- Support Corporate Tax compliance and statutory reporting requirements
- Assist with annual audits and liaise with auditors when required
Requirements
- Master’s or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
- Professional qualification (CA, ACCA or equivalent) is an advantage
- 5 8 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in the UAE
- Experience in architectural consultancy, engineering consultancy, construction, or contracting company
- Strong knowledge of Zoho Books and Microsoft Excel
- Good understanding of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and statutory compliance
- Experience in project accounting and contract based billing

Overview
- We are seeking a proactive and detail oriented Senior Accountant & Finance Manager to manage the day to day accounting operations and support the financial management of our architectural consultancy.
- The ideal candidate will have experience in the UAE contracting, construction, or architectural consultancy sector and be capable of preparing financial reports, managing project accounting, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting business decision making.
- The successful candidate should have strong knowledge of Zoho Books, UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate accounting records, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bank reconciliations, and fixed assets.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.

Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Professional qualification (CA, ACCA or equivalent) is an advantage.
- 5 8 years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in the UAE.
- Experience in an architectural consultancy, engineering consultancy, construction, or contracting company would be ideal.
- Strong knowledge of Zoho Books and Microsoft Excel.
- Good understanding of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in project accounting and contract based billing is preferred.
