Senior Accountant F&B - Arabic

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, the general ledger, and bank transactions.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Monitor sales, purchases, expenses, inventory, and other financial transactions.
• Handle food cost, beverage cost, COGS, inventory valuation, wastage, and stock adjustments.
• Analyze food cost percentages and gross profit margins.
• Reconcile daily POS sales with cash, card, and online payment transactions.
• Review invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Stores, and Management.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial closing.
• Support audits, investigate discrepancies, and ensure corrective action.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and applicable regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong F&B, restaurant, hospitality, or retail accounting experience is required.
• Solid knowledge of food cost, inventory, COGS, stock reconciliation, and sales reconciliation.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Previous experience in Qatar or the GCC is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in multi-branch F&B operations is preferred.
• Experience with POS and accounting system integration is preferred.
• Strong understanding of F&B cost control is preferred.
• Experience in financial reporting, management accounts, budgeting, and forecasting is preferred.

Compensation

• The stated pay is QAR 8,000–10,000 per month.

Workplace

• The work location is in person in Doha, Qatar.
