Requirements
- Strong technical accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliation
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and local regulatory requirements in the UAE or similar jurisdictions
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational abilities, with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
- Prior experience in a senior or supervisory accounting role, including mentoring or guiding less experienced team members
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance; professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are an advantage

Role Description
- The Senior Accountant is a full time, on site role based in Dubai.
- This role is responsible for overseeing general ledger activities, preparing and reviewing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- The Senior Accountant will manage month end and year end closing processes, produce financial statements and management reports, and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Day to day tasks include monitoring cash flow, reviewing expenses and revenue recognition, maintaining compliance with local regulations and accounting standards, and supporting internal and external audits.
- The role will also collaborate with cross functional teams to provide financial insights, improve processes, and support strategic decision making.
Qualifications
- Strong technical accounting skills, including general ledger management, financial statement preparation, and account reconciliation.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and cash flow management.
- Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, as well as advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
