Channel Sales Director / Senior Channel Manager (Robotics)

Location

UAE/ other GCC countries

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced channel sales professionals with a strong background in the smart devices distribution industry (national or provincial distributors) to lead the commercialization robotic solutions.

This role focuses on replicating proven multi-tier distribution models from the smartphone industry to rapidly scale robot sales across target markets.

1. Channel System Development (Core)

  • Build and manage a multi-tier distribution network (national distributor → provincial distributor → local dealers → retail)
  • Design and implement channel structures and governance
  • Develop pricing systems, rebate policies, and incentive mechanisms

2. Channel Expansion & Partner Acquisition

  • Identify and onboard qualified distributors with strong regional capabilities
  • Rapidly establish channel coverage in key markets
  • Organize distributor conferences, roadshows, and product launch events

3. Sales Target Achievement

  • Define and deliver quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Drive channel sell-in and sell-through performance
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure healthy cash flow & collections

4. Channel Operations & Enablement

  • Provide training, tools, and sales support to channel partners
  • Develop standardized sales playbooks (similar to smartphone industry best practices)
  • Support key deals and strategic accounts

5. Market Strategy & Feedback Loop

  • Adjust pricing and go-to-market strategies based on channel feedback
  • Conduct competitive analysis (robotics / smart hardware sector)
  • Support localization strategies in target markets

Must-Have Qualifications

  • 5+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in the mobile phone industry
  • Proven experience in one or more of the following:
  • o National or provincial distributor sales leadership
  • o Managing channel systems for brands such as OPPO, vivo, Xiaomi, Huawei, etc.
  • Deep understanding of:
  • o Multi-tier distribution models
  • o Channel pricing structures and rebate systems
  • o Sell-in / sell-through dynamics and inventory management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in Middle East / Southeast Asia markets (UAE is a strong plus)
  • Background in robotics, IoT, or smart hardware
  • Existing distributor network resources that can be leveraged quickly

  • Strong channel development and partner acquisition capability
  • Proven ability to build and scale business from 0 to 1
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
  • Results-driven with strong execution capability
  • Willingness to travel frequently (including international markets)
