Senior Accountant

Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliations.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.

Vat (Value Added Tax)

• filings and record-keeping as per the Federal Tax Authority requirements.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and support corporate tax compliance where applicable.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails in line with UAE laws (minimum 5-year record retention).
• Handle bank guarantee processes, including applications, renewals and tracking of Advance Payment Guarantees and Performance Bond
• Manage and process payments through Letter of Credit (LC), ensuring compliance with terms and banking requirements
• Assist external auditors during the year-end audit process, ensuring full compliance with audit requirements and timely submission of all requested documents
• Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum
• 5 years of accounting experience in the UAE

Uae Corporate Tax

• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Zoho, Oodo or similar ERP systems).

• Professional certification (CPA, CMA, ACCA) is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).
