The employer is recruiting a Senior Accountant for a leading business setup firm in Dubai Media City.
Key responsibilities
- Independently manage monthly closing.
- Prepare accurate profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Manage accounts payable, supplier payments, and reconciliations.
- Handle general ledger accounting, accruals, prepayments, and month-end adjustments.
- Maintain strong reconciliation and financial-control practices.
- Take ownership of the accounting function and work independently.
Key requirements
- Applicants need a strong accounting background.
- UAE experience is mandatory.
- Experience in the UAE business setup or corporate services industry is preferred.
- Candidates must be able to independently manage monthly closing.
- Candidates must be able to prepare accurate profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
- Strong experience with accounts payable, supplier payments, reconciliations, general ledger accounting, accruals, prepayments, and month-end adjustments is required.
- Strong reconciliation and financial-control skills are required.
- The role requires independent work and ownership of the accounting function.
