Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and review invoices, payments, receipts, and journal entries.
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with UAE accounting, VAT, and corporate tax requirements.
• Assist with VAT returns and corporate tax-related matters.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documentation.
• Review entries, resolve discrepancies, provide management reports, and maintain accounting documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5+ years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good understanding of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.
• Experience with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and accuracy skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• UAE accounting experience is highly preferred.
• ACCA, CMA, CPA, or an equivalent professional qualification is an advantage.
• Experience handling audits and tax compliance is an advantage.

Compensation

• Pay is listed as AED 5,000–AED 15,000 per month.

• Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
