About the Role
Montage Commodities FZCO seeks a Senior Accountant/Accounts Manager to own the day-to-day books for a DMCC-registered commodities trading entity.

Responsibilities
- Maintain full book of accounts: general ledger, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, trade finance entries (LCs, vessel/commodity trade settlements)
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Ensure accurate month end and year end close processes
- Manage UAE VAT filings and Corporate Tax compliance
- Support DMCC annual license renewal and audit requirements
- Liaise with external auditors and the group's financial supervision advisors
- Maintain internal MIS for management reporting
- Support FTA related submissions and documentation (economic substance, related party transactions)
- Coordinate with trade finance banks on documentation and reporting standards
- Track intercompany transactions between Montage, IPChem Pakistan, and LOTCHEM where relevant
- Flag discrepancies, risks, or compliance gaps proactively to the Chairman's Office
Requirements
- 6–10+ years accounting experience, with minimum 3–4 years in the UAE (mandatory)
- Strong working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
- Experience with DMCC or free zone company compliance
- Commodity trading / trade finance accounting experience strongly preferred (LCs, vessel settlements, FX exposure)
- Professional qualification preferred (ACCA, CA, CPA, or equivalent)
- Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho, or ERP systems) and advanced Excel
- High attention to detail, discretion, and ability to work directly with senior leadership
- Fluent English; Arabic or Hindi/Urdu a plus given counterparty base

Role Purpose
