Responsibilities
- Manage general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, revenues, and project profitability
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial variance reports
- Manage supplier payments, client invoicing, and payment collections
- Review event and project costs, including venue, production, travel, speaker, and vendor expenses
- Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns and support corporate tax compliance
- Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and UAE regulations
- Coordinate with management, sales, operations, and project teams on financial matters
- Improve accounting controls, reporting processes, and financial procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a senior accounting role
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, corporate tax, and financial reporting requirements
- Experience preparing financial statements, budgets, and management reports
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
