Overview
- Lead and manage the full spectrum of accounting operations, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UAE regulations
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS standards and management requirements
- Oversee cost accounting for manufacturing operations, including Bill of Materials (BOM), standard costing, and detailed variance analysis (material, labor, and overheads)
- Manage inventory accounting, ensuring accurate valuation and reconciliation of Raw Materials, Work-in-Progress (WIP), and Finished Goods, with periodic physical stock verification
- Analyze production costs, monitor overhead allocation, and provide actionable insights on product profitability and cost optimization
- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes, including cash flow management and working capital optimization
- Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT regulations, corporate tax requirements, and other statutory obligations, including timely filings and documentation
- Liaise with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth and timely completion of audits and assessments
- Establish, review, and strengthen internal controls, policies, and financial processes to mitigate risks and improve operational efficiency
- Partner with production, procurement, and operations teams to control costs, improve margins, and support strategic decision-making
- Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring performance, accountability, and continuous development
