Senior Account Manager, Digital and Social

is a strategic and technical role designed to manage the websites and digital footprint of our government clients.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Digital and social media, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of digital assets from website development and UX optimisation to high-stakes social media intelligence and monitoring.

This role requires a balance of project management excellence and deep technical knowledge to ensure our digital mandates are delivered with precision and high-performance impact.

1. Strategic Social Media & Content Governance

  • Digital Strategy Updates: Proactively update the Digital Playbook and implement high-level channel engagement strategies to keep pace with platform evolutions.
  • Calendar Management: Oversee the master content calendar, ensuring cross-platform alignment and strategic timing for all digital outputs.

2. Integrated Monitoring & Rapid Response

  • Bilingual Vigilance (English & Arabic): Lead the 24/7/365 community management framework, ensuring consistent engagement across all time zones.
  • Intelligence & Escalation: Act as the primary filter for "flagging news," identifying critical issues for immediate response or tactical opportunities for client growth.

3. Performance-Driven Website Management

  • Full-Stack SEO: Thorough understanding and extensive working experience in both Technical SEO (on-page architecture) and Off-page SEO (authority building) to drive organic visibility.
  • Lifecycle Optimisation: Direct the continuous cycle of content creation, maintenance, and UX enhancements based on real-time data and reporting.

4. Influencer Stewardship & Advanced Analytics

  • Influencer Ecosystems: Strong understanding of theinfluencer landscape in the UAE, and support in influencer management from identification to contract management and performance analysis.
  • Tiered Reporting Structure: Own the delivery of the reporting cadence, specifically:
  • -Weekly: Liaison updates on immediate tasks and task prioritization.
  • -Monthly: Deep-dive performance reporting against KPIs.
  • -Quarterly: Strategic analysis updates to influence long-term planning.

5. Project Management Excellence

  • Workflow Integrity: Directly manage workplans and task prioritisation to ensure that the digital team maintains high-performance standards without sacrificing operational flow.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a digital agency or technical account management role, specifically managing integrated mandates for government or enterprise-level clients.
  • Proven track record in overseeing 24/7/365 social monitoring and community management frameworks, with the ability to identify and escalate flagging news or reputational risks.
  • Demonstrated ability to create detailed workplans and manage task prioritization, ensuring high-quality output within a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced expertise in Technical and Off-page SEO, including backlink management, domain authority building, and deep-dive keyword research.
  • UX & Performance: Practical experience applying UX/UI principles to conduct website audits and manage the full development lifecycle from wireframes to conversion optimization.
  • Proficiency in CMS management and social media ad managers (Meta, LinkedIn, X, TikTok) to oversee technical requirements such as tagging, pixel implementation, and CAPI integrations.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic

  • Strong ability to translate complex data sets into actionable business insights for a structured reporting cadence (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly).

  • Experience working within structured environments (e.g., deep-work periods) and a commitment to balancing operational excellence with strategic thinking.
  • A forward-thinking approach to using AI tools to augment reporting and monitoring workflows.
