Compensation and Duration
- Salary is AED 15,000–16,000 per month.
- The engagement is for one year and can be extended.
- The required notice period is immediate or up to one month.
Experience
- Minimum of 4–6 years of relevant experience or work in a large-scale ICT environment focused on information or cybersecurity.
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or another quantitative field.
- CompTIA Security+ certification is required.
- EC-Council Certified Ethical Hacker certification is required.
Required Skill Set
- Understand TCP/IP, the OSI seven-layer model, security best practices, and information security concepts.
- Understand Windows and Unix-based systems and related security.
- Have intermediate knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies.
- Understand defense-in-depth analysis, security threats, and vulnerabilities.
- Perform log monitoring, analysis, and correlation.
- Understand incident detection, reporting, and response.
- Use SIEM consoles to create and analyze rules, reports, and dashboards.
- Understand IPS and common security products including SIEM, antivirus, file integrity monitoring, and DLP.
