Job Purpose
Operate endpoint security controls, investigate EDR/XDR detections, and support containment and remediation of cyber threats.
Maintain secure configurations across Windows, macOS, Linux, VDI, and approved server endpoints.
Correlate endpoint, network, web, cloud, identity, and privileged-access telemetry through SOC, incident response, and ITSM processes.
Endpoint Monitoring and Investigation
- Monitor and investigate alerts from Trend Micro AV/XDR, Deep Discovery Inspector, TippingPoint IPS, Forcepoint, and Netskope.
- Correlate security telemetry to determine severity, scope, affected assets, and escalation needs.
- Review process trees, files, hashes, network connections, user activity, device history, privileged-account activity, and compromise indicators.
- Administer endpoint agents and policies, maintain security coverage, review exceptions, and tune detection and prevention policies.
Incident Response and Remediation
- Execute approved containment actions such as host isolation, process termination, file quarantine, indicator blocking, account suspension, and session or token revocation.
- Support evidence preservation, malware eradication, recovery validation, post-incident monitoring, and incident timeline documentation.
