SAAS Properties is seeking an experienced Security Officer to own the security of its premises.
The role covers CCTV, access control, doors, visitors, physical security policy, and incident response.
Key responsibilities
- Administer badge issuance and revocation, door groups, and access changes.
- Operate and maintain the CCTV estate in line with GDPR.
- Run visitor registration, contractor vetting, patrols, and opening and closing checks.
- Respond to theft, tailgating, and trespass; investigate, document, and coordinate with police and building management.
- Own physical security policy and audit evidence.
- Manage guarding, alarm monitoring, locksmith, CCTV, and access control vendors.
- Maintain door hardware and the restricted key register.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in security management or a related field; equivalent professional experience is considered.
- At least 3 years of corporate security experience, ideally in a technology or regulated environment.
- Hands-on experience with access control platforms and IP CCTV or VMS systems.
- Experience managing security vendors and responding to live incidents.
- PSP or CPP certification is a plus.

- Sound judgment under pressure and the ability to remain calm during incidents.
- Dependability, proactivity, and strong attention to detail.
