- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect security breaches
- Control access to premises by verifying identification and authorizations
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, facilities, and surrounding areas
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, incidents, and security concerns
- Prepare detailed incident and daily activity reports
- Assist visitors, employees, and contractors while maintaining security protocols
- Enforce company policies and safety regulations
- Coordinate with emergency services and management when required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Security Guard License (if required by local regulations)
- Previous security experience preferred but not mandatory
- Strong observation and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in emergency situations
- Physical fitness to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods
- Basic report writing and record keeping skills
- Flexible availability for shifts, weekends, and holidays
- SIRA License preferred
