Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to detect and prevent security threats, safety hazards, and unauthorized activities.
- Monitor premises to ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors, contractors, and assets.
- Enforce site specific security policies, procedures, and operational instructions.
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity and promote a secure environment.
- Report all incidents, accidents, damages, and suspicious activities promptly to the relevant supervisors.
- Monitor and control access to buildings, facilities, and restricted areas.
- Verify identification, visitor passes, and access credentials before granting entry.
- Register visitors, contractors, and vendors in accordance with site requirements.
- Monitor CCTV systems, alarm panels, access control systems, and other security equipment.
- Respond effectively to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical incidents, security threats, and evacuations.
- Prepare detailed Daily Occurrence Reports (DOR), incident reports, patrol logs, and visitor records.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and local regulatory standards.
Requirements
- High School Certificate or equivalent
- Valid SIRA, PSBD, or equivalent security license preferred
- Previous security experience is an advantage
- Physically fit and capable of working shifts and conducting patrols
- Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an added advantage
- Strong observation, problem solving, and incident reporting skills
- Professional, customer focused, and able to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively during emergencies

- The role involves monitoring premises, controlling access, conducting patrols, responding to incidents, and ensuring compliance with security procedures and applicable regulations.
- Security Guards are expected to demonstrate professionalism, vigilance, excellent customer service, and strong situational awareness at all times.
Security Operations
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to detect and prevent security threats, safety hazards, and unauthorized activities.
- Monitor premises to ensure the safety and security of employees, visitors, contractors, and assets.
- Enforce site specific security policies, procedures, and operational instructions.
- Maintain a visible security presence to deter criminal activity and promote a secure environment.
- Report all incidents, accidents, damages, and suspicious activities promptly to the relevant supervisors.
Access Control & Visitor Management
- Monitor and control access to buildings, facilities, and restricted areas.
- Verify identification, visitor passes, and access credentials before granting entry.
- Register visitors, contractors, and vendors in accordance with site requirements.
- Conduct vehicle and personnel checks where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with client security protocols and access control procedures.
Surveillance & Monitoring
- Monitor CCTV systems, alarm panels, access control systems, and other security equipment.
- Identify and escalate security breaches, equipment malfunctions, and operational concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of security observations, occurrences, and patrol activities.
- Assist in preserving evidence and documenting incidents when required.
Emergency Response
- Respond effectively to emergencies, including fire alarms, medical incidents, security threats, and evacuations.
- Follow established emergency response procedures and escalation protocols.
- Coordinate with emergency services, law enforcement agencies, and site management when necessary.
- Assist in crowd management and evacuation procedures during emergencies.
Customer Service
- Provide professional assistance and information to employees, visitors, and customers.
- Maintain a courteous, approachable, and service oriented attitude while enforcing security requirements.
- Resolve minor disputes and direct concerns to the appropriate personnel when required.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare detailed Daily Occurrence Reports (DOR), incident reports, patrol logs, and visitor records.
- Maintain accurate documentation of security activities, incidents, and observations.
- Complete shift handover reports and communicate relevant operational information to incoming personnel.
- Ensure all reports are submitted accurately and within established timelines.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and local regulatory standards.
- Follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures while performing duties.
- Identify and report unsafe conditions, hazards, and potential risks.
- Participate in drills, training sessions, and emergency preparedness exercises.
Preferred Certifications
- SIRA Security Guard License (Dubai) – Valid certification preferred.
- PSBD Security Guard License (Abu Dhabi) – Valid certification preferred for Abu Dhabi operations.
- First Aid and CPR Certification – Added advantage.
- Fire Safety and Emergency Response Training – Preferred.
- Basic Security Operations Training – Preferred.
Qualifications & Competencies
- High School Certificate or equivalent qualification.
