Security Analyst

• Core Requirements: 2–3 years of combined hands-on technical experience in cybersecurity, IT support/sysadmin with a security focus, or relevant post-secondary education in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or Information Technology. Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, SANS GIAC (e.g., GSEC, GCIH), or equivalent industry-recognized credentials. Hands-on familiarity with modern EDR/XDR solutions. Solid understanding of Windows, MacOS, and Linux in an enterprise environment. Scripting capability (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for task automation and log analysis. Familiarity with network analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark, Cisco Meraki packet analyzer) and core networking concepts (firewalls, VPNs, switches, WiFi). Platform & Cloud Administration: Working knowledge of enterprise management platforms including Google Workspace Admin and Microsoft Intune, as well as cloud environments (Microsoft Azure/M365, AWS, GCP) and identity security (IAM, Active Directory/Entra ID, Zero Trust). Operational Tools: Hands-on familiarity with modern ticketing systems and project management software.

Awareness or exposure to emerging security considerations, including Security for Agentic AI.
