Job Overview

  • Al Rabeeh Academy is seeking an experienced and passionate Art Teacher to join our dynamic, high performing team from August 2026.
  • As a Secondary Art Teacher in an international British curriculum school, you will play a vital role in delivering high quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, including GCSE and A Level Art and Graphic Design.
  • You will inspire students through creative, engaging lessons that develop artistic techniques, visual communication, and critical thinking.

What We're Looking For

  • Deliver engaging, well structured lessons in line with British curriculum standards, with the ability to teach Art and Graphic Design up to at least GCSE level, and ideally A Level.
  • Model strong, creative, visual, and critical thinking skills through inspiring and effective teaching approaches.
  • Use a range of formative and summative assessment strategies to monitor, track, and support student progress in practical and coursework based subjects.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, departmental development, and the creation of high quality teaching resources and studio based learning experiences.
  • Support the academic and pastoral well being of students, promoting the school's values, routines, and high expectations.
  • Build strong, positive relationships with parents through clear communication regarding student progress, attainment, and next steps.
  • Participate actively in school events, exhibitions, professional development, and broader whole school initiatives.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Be a fluent English speaker
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant subject with PGCE / QTS (or equivalent teaching qualification).
  • Experience teaching the English National Curriculum, preferably in an international setting.
  • Strong classroom management skills and commitment to student wellbeing.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
