Overview
- Selected candidates will be required to perform, but not limited to, the following duties:
- Rope handling, knotting, and splicing
- Mooring and unmooring operations
- Chipping, painting, and basic carpentry
- Firefighting and emergency response
- Oil spill response and pollution control
- Cleaning and maintenance of buoys and navigational aids
- General marine and port-related operational duties
- Candidates with marine mechanical experience will have an added advantage.
