Job Description

  • We are looking for experienced Scrum Masters to support Agile software development teams in delivering high quality products and solutions.
  • In this role, you will act as a servant leader, empowering Scrum Teams to collaborate effectively, overcome obstacles, and continuously improve their ways of working.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the Scrum process and ensure all Scrum ceremonies and events are effectively organized and conducted.
  • Coach and mentor Development Teams and Product Owners on Scrum principles, practices, roles, and responsibilities.
  • Support Scrum Teams by identifying and removing impediments that may impact progress and delivery.
  • Ensure teams have the resources and support required to succeed while protecting them from unnecessary external distractions.
  • Promote adherence to Scrum values, principles, and Agile best practices.
  • Facilitate constructive communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Support conflict resolution and help teams navigate challenging situations effectively.
  • Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, self organization, and accountability.
  • Act as a liaison between Scrum Teams and key stakeholders.
  • Provide transparency into project progress, risks, challenges, and delivery.

Profile Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
  • Strong understanding of Scrum principles, practices, and Agile methodologies.
  • Proven leadership skills and experience empowering teams to become self organized and collaborative.
  • Strong problem solving skills with the ability to identify and address complex impediments.
  • Experience with conflict resolution and negotiation.
  • Ability to facilitate constructive communication among team members and stakeholders.
  • Experience managing relationships with stakeholders at various organizational levels.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Availability to work according to European time zones if selected to support the Europe based team.
  • Ability to occasionally visit the Mississauga campus for special events or workshops.

Compensation

  • Expected compensation range: 90K CAD.
  • Final compensation determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
