- Develop and implement a 5-year and 10-year master plan for neurological disorder research.
- Lead the preparation and execution of the annual budget and business plan.
- Oversee the development of infrastructure and laboratory facilities in NDRC.
- Lead a team of scientists and researchers to develop new methods and solutions in neurological disorder research.
- Collaborate with HBKU entities and external partners to secure resources and funding.
- Ensure compliance with research protocols, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Foster collaborative relationships with national and international research institutions.
- Identify, recruit, and motivate a team of scientists to achieve QBRI's vision and mission.
- Actively participate in basic and applied research to meet the Centre's objectives.
- Seek and secure external funding to complement HBKU resources.
- Prepare progress reports and recommend improvements to enhance research performance.
