About the Role
Adaptyv is seeking a Scientific Account Executive to manage the full customer lifecycle for an automated biology lab platform. The role requires a blend of scientific depth in protein engineering and commercial skills to drive sales and customer success.

Responsibilities
- Own full customer lifecycle: prospecting, technical sales, closing, onboarding, account management
- Serve as technical point of contact, understand protein engineering goals and recommend experiments
- Explain assay capabilities (BLI, SPR, cell free expression) and interpret data
- Work with biology team to ensure correct experiment design and clear communication of results
- Build and maintain pipeline of commercial opportunities across customer segments
- Develop proposals and quotes tailored to customer needs
- Represent Adaptyv at conferences and industry events
- Feed customer insights back to product and biology teams
Requirements
- Scientific background in protein engineering, biochemistry, biophysics, or related field
- Experience in a customer facing technical role (field application scientist, technical sales, scientific account management)
- Commercially driven with focus on revenue and pipeline
- Strong communication skills adaptable to different audiences
- Self starter able to manage own pipeline
- Genuine interest in AI driven protein design

Day to day
- Running technical sales calls discussing binding kinetics, expression systems, assay design
- Onboarding new customers and helping design first experiments
- Monitoring ongoing accounts, flagging issues, suggesting next steps
- Working with biology team to troubleshoot experiments
- Identifying expansion opportunities within existing accounts
