Role Overview
Nord Anglia Education is recruiting an HR Manager to join Compass International School Doha, Qatar.
The HR Manager will lead people management and provide an HR service supporting the school's strategic and operational priorities.
The anticipated start date is January 2027, although an earlier start can be accommodated.
People Management Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for all school roles with the Principal and school leadership team.
- Act as the first point of contact for employee relations, providing advice, coaching and mediation.
- Oversee payroll inputs, contract renewals, attendance management and personnel file maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with Qatar Labour Law, MOEHE requirements and Nord Anglia HR policies.
- Manage employee visa renewals, residency processes and exit procedures.
Performance and Workforce Responsibilities
- Coordinate the annual appraisal and performance review process.
- Support managers with goal setting, feedback and development planning.
- Partner with the Principal on workforce structure, compensation and people priorities.
- Champion diversity, inclusion and wellbeing across the school community.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
- Five to seven years of HR generalist or management experience, ideally in a school or service-led environment.
- Strong understanding of Qatar Labour Law, employment legislation and immigration processes.
- Proven experience managing high-volume recruitment and onboarding.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Skilled in HR systems and data management; SuccessFactors experience is an advantage.
- Culturally aware, empathetic and able to work in a diverse international setting.
- CIPD qualification is desirable.
