School HR Manager

Role Overview

The Role

• Lead full-cycle recruitment for all school roles with the Principal and school leadership team.
• Provide employee-relations advice, coaching, and mediation to managers and staff.
• Oversee payroll inputs, contract renewals, attendance management, and personnel file maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar Labour Law, MOEHE requirements, and Nord Anglia HR policies.
• Manage employee visa renewals, residency processes, and exit procedures.
• Coordinate annual appraisal and performance review activities.
• Support goal setting, feedback, and development planning for managers.
• Partner with the Principal on workforce structure, compensation, and people priorities.
• Champion diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing across the school community.

Successful Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• CIPD qualification is desirable.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of HR generalist or management experience.
• School or service-led environment experience is preferred.
• Strong understanding of Qatar Labour Law, employment legislation, and immigration processes.
• Proven track record of managing high-volume recruitment and onboarding.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience with HR systems and data management is required; SuccessFactors experience is advantageous.
• Cultural awareness, empathy, and the ability to work in a diverse international setting.
