Role Overview
The MFL Teaching Assistant will support high-quality language learning across French, Spanish and German in both Primary and Secondary. Working closely with the MFL Department, the post-holder will provide targeted classroom and small-group support, helping pupils develop confidence and competence across the four language skills. The role will include supporting speaking practice, intervention and personalized learning, as well as contributing to the effective organization and wider life of the MFL Department.
In collaboration with the Head of Languages and/or designated MFL Deputy, the MFL Teaching Assistant will support teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive MFL lessons, promoting positive behavior and maintaining a purposeful, supportive and inclusive learning environment in line with school and departmental expectations.
The successful candidate will be a compassionate, patient and proactive individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They will demonstrate a genuine commitment to inclusive education, a positive approach to supporting pupil progress, and the ability to build strong and respectful relationships with students, colleagues and families.

The British International School Abu Dhabi is seeking to appoint a TeachingAssistant to join our MFL Team. This is a role within a well-established and supportive team in a highly successful and expanding school.
