About the Role
Virtusa seeks an SCF Functional specialist with deep expertise in Trade Finance, Core Banking (Ethix), and Islamic banking products. The role requires advanced programming skills in Java, SQL/PL-SQL, and DevOps, along with 18+ years of banking experience to lead implementation and support of Trade/SCF systems.

Responsibilities
- Lead implementation, configuration, and support of Core, Trade/SCF systems
- Define accounting and posting rules for all Trade/SCF products and instruments
- Communicate effectively with IT specialists (e.g., IT security, network infrastructure teams)
- Manage project delivery and stakeholder expectations
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of relevant working experience in banking
- Deep knowledge of Trade Finance and SCF products
- Very advanced programming in Java and SQL/PL SQL
- Deep knowledge of Ethix Core Banking
- Understanding of Islamic banking and Islamic products (Murabaha, Istisn'a, LME, Wakala Ijara)
- Experience in SIT/UAT and stakeholder management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A good degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Technical Skills
- Very Advanced Programming and SQL/PL SQL language
- Deep Knowledge of Trade Finance
- Very Advanced Programming on Java
- Very Advanced on DevOps
- Deep Knowledge on Ethix Core Banking
- Deep Knowledge on Finances, RFR and Profit calculation
- Very Advanced Programming Crystal Reports
- Ability to communicate effectively with IT specialists
- Understanding of Core Banking, Trade/SCF products, their workflow and life cycle
- Understanding of Islamic banking and Islamic Products (Murabaha, Istisn'a, LME, Wakala Ijara)
Experience Required
- Minimum 18 Years in banking (10 years in consultation on Core, Trade/Supply chain finance)
- Experience of working on core banking (Ethix)
- Hands on experience of implementation, configuration and support of Core, Trade/SCF system
- Proven track record of working experience with Core, Trade/SCF
- Experience of defining accounting and posting rules for all Trade/SCF products and instruments
- Experience in SIT/UAT and stakeholder management
- Results oriented individual and can work under pressure
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in requirement definition and analysis, workshop facilitation and documentation
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Project Management Experience
- Excellent communication, presentation and consultancy skills
