About the Role
Virtusa is seeking a Business Analyst with expertise in Loan Origination Systems (LOS) to engage with retail lending teams and define future-state origination journeys. The role requires 8-10 years of banking experience and at least 5 years in LOS implementations.

Responsibilities
- Engage with retail lending, credit risk, operations, and product teams to gather origination requirements
- Analyze current state loan origination processes on the existing platform (Newgen IBPS)
- Define future state origination journeys, workflows, and BPMN process flows on Flowable
- Prepare BRD, FSD, user stories, and process maps
- Act as bridge between business and IT, conduct workshops and discovery sessions
- Define test cases and scenarios, support SIT and UAT
- Support the implementation lifecycle across phased go live waves
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- 8 10 years banking / financial services experience
- Minimum 5 years of Business Analysis experience on Loan Origination System implementations (e.g., Flowable, Newgen, Finacle Origination, FinnOne, Pega)
- Retail lending and loan origination process knowledge
- Workflow / BPM configuration awareness (Flowable, Camunda, Newgen, or similar)
- Process mapping and documentation skills
- Knowledge of API Integration (REST / SOAP), File Formats (XML, ISO, JSON, CSV), Data Mapping & Interface specification

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with vendors and product owners
- Define test cases and scenarios
- Support SIT and UAT
- Track defects and closures through to QG gate sign off
- Support the implementation lifecycle across phased go live waves
- Assist in training and go live (greenfield new book first, followed by legacy migration)
Skills & Competencies
- Retail lending and loan origination process knowledge
- Workflow / BPM configuration awareness (Flowable, Camunda, Newgen, or similar)
- Process mapping and documentation
- Stakeholder communication
- Knowledge of API Integration (REST / SOAP), File Formats (XML, ISO, JSON, CSV), Data Mapping & Interface specification
Qualifications
