About the Role
The Department of Energy Abu Dhabi is looking for a Scenario Designing Specialist to lead modeling works for energy scenarios, support benchmarking, and operationalize governance frameworks.

- Support carrying out benchmarking exercises on scenario building and ensure implementation of recommendations

- Contribute to development and maintenance of governance framework(s) for scenario design and development
- Assist modeling team in periodic updates of energy, water, and broader energy models
- Support development of models/forms for entered energy, water, and electricity modeling data
- Assist in conducting extensive research and collaborating with institutions for benchmarking
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Energy Engineering, Data Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 5 years of experience in a relevant field (scenario building and designing, data management, energy modeling, etc.)

Role Summary
- The Scenario Designing Specialist is responsible for leading the modeling works related to identifying, classifying, designing, and developing the scenarios to be modeled/assessed.
- Supports carrying out benchmarking exercises on scenario building and ensuring implementation of recommendations.
- Responsible for operationalizing the governance framework(s) of scenario designing and development works.
