Job Summary
The Scaffolding Inspector will inspect, monitor, and ensure the safety and quality of scaffolding structures at project sites.
The role includes checking installations, identifying unsafe conditions, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and maintaining inspection records.

Location and Work Arrangement
- The stated location is Thane and the western line.
- The listed work arrangement is hybrid remote in Thane, Maharashtra.
- The role also requires willingness to work at construction or project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect scaffolding before use and at regular intervals and ensure it is properly erected, secured, braced, and maintained.
- Identify unsafe conditions, defects, and non-compliance and check components, platforms, access points, guardrails, toe boards, ladders, and safety arrangements.
- Verify that scaffolding is suitable for intended loads and work requirements.
- Prepare inspection checklists, reports, records, and documentation and ensure proper scaffolding tagging.
- Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, foremen, and safety teams on scaffolding concerns.
- Recommend corrective actions, follow up on resolution, and conduct re-inspections after modifications, repairs, adverse weather, or other required situations.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, site requirements, and company standards.
- Escalate critical safety concerns to senior or site management immediately.
Eligibility and Requirements
- Diploma in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with at least five years of relevant experience.
- ITI candidates with seven to eight years of relevant experience may also apply.
- A Scaffold Inspector Certificate is mandatory.
- Relevant scaffolding inspection and construction or site operations experience is required.
- Proper and verifiable experience letters from previous employers are required.
- Good knowledge of scaffolding systems, components, inspection procedures, and safety practices is required.
- Ability to identify hazards and unsafe scaffolding conditions and communicate findings is required.
- Experience in formwork, shuttering, site supervision, industrial projects, or construction safety is preferred.
- Willingness to work at construction or project sites is required.
Compensation
- The description lists pay of ₹30,000 to ₹40,000 per month based on experience and qualifications.
- A later pay statement lists ₹25,000 to ₹40,000 per month.
