- Define and execute the regional growth strategy for the Helium, Specialty Gases, and Offshore business portfolios

- Expand market share across GCC, MENA, and targeted international markets

Role Overview
- The SBU Head – Helium & Specialty Gases is responsible for leading, growing, and optimizing the Helium, Specialty Gases, and Offshore business portfolios across assigned markets, with full accountability for strategic direction, commercial performance, operational excellence, safety, and profitabili
- This executive leadership role drives sustainable and profitable growth through expansion of the end user customer base, enhancement of market share, and assurance of secure, reliable supply continuity throughout the region.
- With full P&L ownership, the SBU Head will lead cross functional teams spanning sales, operations, supply chain, and commercial functions to deliver accelerated revenue growth, margin expansion, safety performance, and operational excellence.
Accountabilities
- Define and execute the regional growth strategy for the Helium, Specialty Gases, and Offshore business portfolios, ensuring full alignment with broader corporate objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and capitalize on new growth opportunities across new and emerging markets, applications, distribution channels, and customer segments.
- Lead the development of annual operating plans, budget cycles, and multi year strategic business plans.
- Drive strong cross functional leadership and organizational alignment across commercial, operations, supply chain, and supporting functions.
- Lead commercial direction, including pricing architecture, contract strategy, and differentiated value propositions.
- Expand market share across GCC, MENA, and targeted international markets, with a strong focus on direct end user penetration.
- Assume full ownership of the business’s financial performance, with accountability for revenue growth, profitability, cash generation, and disciplined cost management.
- Drive sustainable margin expansion through pricing, portfolio management and optimization, and continuous improvement in operational efficiency.
- Establish rigorous performance management processes through robust forecasting and KPI management.
- Maximize asset productivity and ROIC across cylinders, bulk assets, offshore equipment, and ISO tanks.
- Ensure continuity and resilience of supply across Helium and Specialty gas portfolios.
- Champion a culture of safety, operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering/business or related field
- 12–15 years of experience in industrial gases.
- Experience across GCC/MENA markets preferred
- Strong experience managing large scale commercial portfolios
- Proven track record in business development and leading multi country portfolios.
- Strong Commercial and P&L management experience.
