Satellite Supervisor

Role Overview

Core Responsibilities

• Own production performance and safety for the assigned area.
• Act as the area authority and On-Scene Commander during emergency response.
• Participate as a permanent member of the platform team.

Crew Management

• Lead up to seven technicians and crane operators in daily activities.
• Motivate staff, encourage process safety and production optimization, and support non-permanent personnel when required.

Planning and Permits

• Plan activities using SAP, materials, tools, Permit to Work requirements, and related resources.
• Supervise safe execution, prepare Permit to Work packs, act as Permit Controller, and ensure proper close-out.

Monitoring and Safety

• Monitor production, injection, and utility systems and propose initiatives to improve daily operations.
• Develop and review risk assessments, manage the Offshore Satellite Emergency Response Team, and perform internal risk-management audits.

Work Schedule

• The role is based on a rotational schedule of 28 days on and 28 days off.
• The offshore rotation includes day and night shifts, with 12-hour days extendable on request.

Experience and Education

• Bachelor of Science in any engineering field or equivalent is required.
• At least five years of oil and gas production operations experience as a supervisor is required.
• Hydrocarbon and process safety experience is required, with instrument and electrical knowledge to the required level.

Certifications

• Required certifications include T-BOSIET/H2S, Fitness to Work, firefighting, major emergency management, offshore emergency response leadership, and advanced first aid.
• Company-specific requirements include incident-free supervision, health and industrial hygiene, industry rules, cause-tree analysis, oil spill management, electrical habilitation, and gas/NORM testing.

Technical and Language Skills

• Understand process, water treatment, gas treatment, gas lift, production equipment, wells, operational hazards, P&ID and C&E drawings, isolation principles, and process safety guidelines.
• Fluent written and spoken English is mandatory.
