Role Description
- This is a full time, on site SAP Specialist role based in the United Arab Emirates. The SAP Specialist will configure, support, and optimize SAP modules, with a focus on finance, controlling, and master data to align with business processes in the automotive spare parts trading environment.
- Daily responsibilities include analyzing requirements from finance, operations, and supply chain teams, designing and implementing SAP solutions, maintaining master data accuracy, and troubleshooting system issues.
- The role involves collaborating with stakeholders to map and improve end to end business processes, preparing documentation, and providing user training and support.
- The SAP Specialist will also participate in system upgrades, testing, integrations, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data integrity, reporting, and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong business process understanding, with the ability to map, analyze, and improve end to end workflows in trading, distribution, finance, and inventory environments.
- Proficiency in SAP FICO, including configuration, integration with related modules, and support for financial closing, reporting, and controlling activities.
- Solid master data management skills, ensuring accurate setup, governance, and maintenance of key data objects across SAP modules.
- Advanced analytical skills and problem solving capabilities, including data analysis, root cause investigation, and development of practical system based solutions.
- Experience in consulting or internal SAP advisory roles, working closely with cross functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system designs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience with SAP implementations, rollouts, or upgrades; familiarity with the automotive or spare parts industry is an advantage.
