Job Description
The SAP Data Migration Lead owns the end-to-end migration lifecycle from legacy Oracle EBS schemas into SAP S/4HANA.
The role combines database extraction and cleansing expertise with functional understanding of legacy and SAP data structures.
Key Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in data migration roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EBS R12 to SAP S/4HANA data migration.
- Strong SQL and Oracle database knowledge, including Oracle EBS FIN, SCM, and HCM structures.
- Understanding of SAP S/4HANA data structures and migration objects.
- Experience with SAP Migration Cockpit, LTMC/LTMOM, SAP BODS, or equivalent tools.
- Experience in data profiling, cleansing, mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
- Experience managing mock loads, cutover loads, and migration readiness.
- Ability to work with DBAs, technical teams, business stakeholders, and system integrator teams.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to drive data ownership, validation, and business sign-off.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end data migration lifecycle from legacy Oracle EBS schemas into SAP S/4HANA.
- Extract, cleanse, transform, map, validate, and reconcile legacy data for SAP migration.
- Map Oracle EBS structures to SAP master data and transactional data objects.
- Use SAP migration tools and data transformation tools to execute migration activities.
- Manage mock loads, cutover loads, and overall migration readiness.
- Coordinate with Oracle DBAs, internal technical teams, business stakeholders, and the system integrator's migration team.
- Drive data ownership, validation, reconciliation, and business sign-off.
