Overview
We are seeking a skilled SAP BW / SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant to design, develop, and deliver enterprise data warehousing and analytics solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP BW (preferably BW/4HANA) and hands-on experience in SAP Analytics Cloud for building dashboards, stories, and planning models.
This role involves transforming business data into actionable insights and ensuring seamless integration across SAP and non-SAP data sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data models in SAP BW (BW on HANA or BW/4HANA preferred)
- Build and optimize data flows using ADSOs, Composite Providers, InfoObjects, and transformations
- Develop and enhance BEx Queries for reporting and analytics
- Design and create interactive dashboards, stories, and visualizations in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Integrate SAC with SAP BW, SAP S/4HANA, and other data sources (live and import connections)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance optimization across reporting layers
- Support data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
- Perform system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and production support
- Troubleshoot and resolve data and reporting issues
- Provide documentation, training, and user support
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in SAP BW (including BW on HANA or BW/4HANA)
- At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
- Strong knowledge of data modeling concepts and SAP BW objects (ADSOs, Composite Providers, InfoObjects)
- Experience in developing BEx Queries and reporting solutions
- Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes
- Experience integrating SAC with SAP and non-SAP systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Preferred Certifications
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP BW/4HANA (e.g., C_BW4HANA_27)
- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Analytics Cloud (e.g., C_SAC_2402)
Additional Skills (Preferred)
- Experience with SAP DataSphere or SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
- Knowledge of planning and predictive features in SAP Analytics Cloud
- Familiarity with SQL, scripting, or other data modeling tools
- Experience with real-time data replication tools (e.g., SLT, SDI)
- Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance standards
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum project environments
