Overview

We are seeking a skilled SAP Business Planning & Consolidation (BPC) Consultant to design, implement, and support enterprise planning and financial consolidation solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP BPC (Standard and/or Embedded models) and a solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes.

This role involves working closely with finance and IT teams to deliver scalable, accurate, and efficient planning and reporting solutions integrated with the broader SAP ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and implement SAP BPC solutions (Standard and/or Embedded models)
  • Support and enhance planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial consolidation processes
  • Develop and maintain business rules, logic scripts, and data manager packages
  • Configure financial models, dimensions, and hierarchies in BPC
  • Integrate SAP BPC with SAP ERP/S/4HANA (FI/CO) and other reporting and analytics tools
  • Collaborate with finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical and functional solutions
  • Perform data validation, reconciliation, and ensure accuracy of financial reports
  • Support system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and deployment activities
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system and data-related issues
  • Optimize system performance and improve usability of planning and reporting processes
  • Provide documentation, training, and post-go-live support to end users

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BPC implementation or support
  • Strong expertise in SAP BPC Standard and/or Embedded models
  • Solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes
  • Experience integrating SAP BPC with SAP ERP or SAP S/4HANA (FI/CO modules)
  • Knowledge of data modeling, financial reporting, and consolidation logic
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with finance and technical stakeholders

Preferred Certifications

  • SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP BPC (version-specific, e.g., SAP BPC 10.1, SAP BW/4HANA)

Additional Skills (Preferred)

  • Experience with SAP BW/4HANA for data modeling and integration
  • Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) for planning and reporting
  • Knowledge of financial consolidation standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP)
  • Experience with data integration tools and ETL processes
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
  • Understanding of performance optimization and system tuning in BPC environments
