The company provides spare parts and service support and operates related power equipment and fuel injection divisions.
Role Overview
The company is seeking a dynamic, knowledgeable, and results-driven Auto Parts Salesman.
The role supports customers in identifying and purchasing suitable vehicle parts.
Customer Enquiries and Quotations
- Receive enquiries through phone, WhatsApp, email, and customer visits.
- Collect vehicle, equipment, part number, VIN, chassis or serial number, quantity, and brand details.
- Confirm the exact part and application before quoting.
- Check stock and supplier prices and prepare quotations with price, discount, VAT, availability, and delivery information.
Orders and Fulfilment
- Obtain customer confirmation or purchase orders and verify order details.
- Enter sales orders accurately into the ERP or company system.
- Coordinate with warehouse, purchasing, logistics, and customers to fulfil orders and confirm deliveries.
- Ensure delivered parts and quantities are correct and invoice details are accurate.
Customer and Payment Follow-Up
- Follow up on quotations and pending orders.
- Develop new customers through calls and field visits.
- Maintain relationships with garages, workshops, fleets, transport companies, and construction companies.
- Monitor outstanding balances and coordinate overdue payment and credit issues.
Returns, Reporting, and Targets
- Handle returns, warranty claims, and complaints according to company policy.
- Report technical or major issues to management.
- Submit daily sales, quotation, order, visit, enquiry, and lost-sales reports.
- Achieve sales and gross-profit targets, maintain customer satisfaction, protect margins, and keep accurate records.
Requirements
- Minimum two to five years of experience in auto parts sales.
- Strong understanding of vehicle components and spare parts.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Motivated, responsible, and goal-oriented approach.
Workplace
- The role is based in person in Dubai.
